The South East Wales Rivers Trust (SEWRT) is one of 22 rivers’ trusts in existence, of which seven are in Wales.

Formed in 2007, SEWRT is committed to caring for the environment in the Valleys of South East Wales. Our volunteers and sponsers are working in partnership to conserve, restore and enhance the water environment and associated habitats.

This work will bring lasting benefits to wildlife and to the people of the Valleys and South East Wales and will contribute to:

• Restoring riparian and water habitats
• Protecting and conserving plants and animals
• Supporting environment education
