Tony Rees MBE
Tony has been an enthusiastic angler all his life and, like all responsible anglers, has taken a keen interest in protecting and improving the natural environment. He has provided strong leadership for the Merthyr Tydfil Angling Association over many years. He has served on Environment Agency regional committees and local fishery groups. At present, he is Chairman of the Taff Local Fishery Group and sits on the executive committee for the Welsh Salmon and Trout Angling Association. A retired master butcher, Tony was awarded the MBE in the 2005 Birthday Honours for services to angling in South Wales.
Professor Bob Williams
Bob Williams is Emeritus Professor in Medical Electronics at the University of South Wales (formally Glamorgan) where he was a Dean. There he established a widely recognised Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. Known in the international academic community for the design of medical imaging systems and lower limb wound assessment, he was the Chair of the Institution of Electrical Engineers in South East Wales and numerous of its national committees. A keen mountaineer with experience in the UK, Europe and the Arctic, he was among the first Voluntary National Park Wardens in the Brecon Beacons Park. He is a life-long fly fisherman..
Johnathan is a lifelong angler and a board member of the Glamorgan Anglers.
Dennis is a retired Education Administrator in Local Government. He is a life-long fly fisherman and conservationist. He is currently Secretary & Treasurer of the Osprey Fly Fisher's Association, based in Abercynon.
